Hi,

My name is Hamza, i'm 26 yo, i was born and grew up in Tunisia.

Actually working as an seo manger (Web Marketing) for 1 year in Tunisia.

My Sister lives in Australia (New South Wales - Brighton le sands - 2216) and already holds a subclass 189, she encouraged me to apply for a visa to live in Australia, i really appreciate Australia and i want to live close to my sister and my niece. they are all what i got.

I just want to ask you a few questions about the visa choice:

- Can my sister who already holds a subclass 189 sponsor me ?

- Does Brighton le sands is one of the designated areas ?

- Is it better for me to apply for a subclass 489 or a subclass 189 ?

And does it make a difference that i have family there ?

- Is there any immigration agent or office in Tunisia that i can trust ?

Thanks.

For her to sponsor you on a Work Visa will be tough, unless she can establish you are a dependant.  Its normally reserved for spouses and children.  But I have seen brothers and sisters.

There are a number of facts I need to know to really help.

Your sister, is she married, or living with someone here (you mention a niece).  Is her partner Aussie, PR or sponsored too?

You probably should look at applying for a skilled immigrant Visa.

489 Subsequent entry

Hi my name is Joey

My husband and I applied and payed for my visa on the 3rd of April 2017
He is currently in oz on a 489 visa and we've applied to have me added onto his visa... (we are both South African citizens , married in SA)

It's been 9 months and we haven't heard anything, I've been for an interview (October) to verify the validity of our marriage and our migration agents told us it shouldn't be long before we get a response but still we haven't heard back yet.

Is anyone else going through this ? It's been extremely painful I relaay just want some clarity
