  1. Happy to report that my PMV was granted yesterday. Thanks for all the help and support. I am happy to answer questions if anyone wants. Applied from USA on March 30, 2019 (about 4.5 months total). Provided medical and character documents about 1.5 months after applying. Had to provide a medical report from a specialist regarding a medical condition (ulcerative colitis). Status went directly from Received/Submitted to granted. Never had any correspondence with a CO.
  2. I don't remember the exact amount. I think the original (non-specialist) medical exam was around $150 USD. Applying from USA
  3. Thanks! Only the health assessment page changed. The main page still says “received” and “submitted”
  4. My medical clearance has been issued (yay!). That will hopefully be the biggest hurdle for me, and it should just be a waiting game now.
  5. Thank you. I will provide updates when I have more info
  6. You're welcome. I received an email from BUPA asking me for more information. I did not get a notification from ImmiAccount, but I was periodically checking the health assessment status page and noticed it changed from pending to something saying they needed more info. The status of my application is "received."
  7. Thanks! I am seeing a gastro specialist this week. She is the doctor that diagnosed my condition. She is not Immi nominated as far as I know (the doctor I went to for the general health exam was nominated). My understanding of this process, which hopefully is correct, is that a specialist does not have to be certified by the Australian government. The notification I got was basically asking for my treatment plan for the next 5-10 years to see how much my condition might cost the Australian government. I am applying from USA.
  8. I applied at the beginning of April 2019. Needless to say, my PMV has not been granted yet. Last week I was asked for more information regarding a health condition (ulcerative colitis), for which I am waiting to see a specialist. Good luck!
