  1. Hi! I am now starting to fill out the 47sp form online. Some questions are pretty straightforward but some are confusing, too. I need your help with filling out the form guys. 1. Question 11/27 Non-migrating members of the family unit Does the applicant have any members of their family unit not travelling to Australia who are not Australian citizens or Australian permanent residents? YesNo If I check yes, do I need to add details of my immediate family members? 2. It's about relationship details. I have already my detailed written statement so in each box I just wrote a written statement is attached. Is this right? Relationship details In the following questions, details of the relationship between the applicant and sponsor must be provided and should form the basis of the applicant's claim that their relationship with their sponsor is genuine and continuing. The information provided also needs to be supported by relevant evidence. This evidence may be such things as photographs, receipts, bills, legal documents or anything else to demonstrate the nature of the relationship the applicant has with their sponsor. This evidence can be uploaded after the submission of this application. Give details of the financial aspects of the relationship. Give details of the nature of the household. Give details of the social aspects of the relationship. Give details of the nature of the commitment the applicant and the sponsor have to each other. Give details of the development of the relationship between the applicant and the sponsor.
  2. Hi Folks Does anyone know how to download forms 40SP and 47SP? It appears they are not available for download since 309 must be applied for online now. The problem is my wife is on a student guardian visa, and this visa has a condition that she must apply for visas offshore, even though she has been living in Aus for past 3 years. So we want to view these online forms before we go offshore (just for visa app), so we can prepare beforehand. BTW My wife is Chinese and is the guardian of her son while he attends high school in Melb, and I'm Aus citizen. Hope someone can help. Thanks Steve
  3. Hello people, My fiancee and I just submitted the subclass 300 , prospective marriage visa online and we have some questions for you wonderful people out there. A few details about our application. My fiancee (the applicant) is Peruvian, with a Peruvian visa. I am born in Australia. Neither of us has ever had another partner. No other applicants are involved in the visa. 1. 40SP and 47SP forms are exactly the same as the information submitted on the online 700 visa. Do we need to do these forms (even though they are EXACTLY the same (word to word), as per the checklist on this website: https://www.immi.gov.au/Visas/Pages/checklists/300.aspx 3. How long do we have to submit all our documents? 4. Can someone describe to us exactly which documents we need to submit? Many thanks to you all! Kind regards,
  4. G'day, friends! I'm filing today on my ImmiAccount (shivers!!! ....nervous!!) but I have limited time. Most of our docs are complete, with the acception of groupings of nature of the relationship pix/docs/flotsom & jetsom to cater to the limited file sizes, but NOTHING is scanned in at this stage. Today, I will scan in my 47sp and pay that legendary fee, to apply. My question is, what are the bare minimum I should also scan in and send during this first session? I intend to work on it more this weekend and next week, but my fear is that they will look at everything today and think we have lodged a severely under substantiated application. ...or should I wait until I have everything grouped and scanned and then apply with all docs at once? I am applying from within Australia but my current visa expires September 5. Its my understanding they do look at onshore applications and send Bridging A visas along with application acceptance fairly quickly upon receipt. Thanx for your help!!
  5. My partner is planning and hoping to apply for her De-facto Partner Visa(with our daughter) imminently! Question 1- Can I live in Thailand(We have a house together there) and put down on the 40SP & 47SP applications my that my Residential Address is in Australia? Question 2- On my 40SP form for Question 38: In which countries have you lived for 12 months (in total) or more during the last 10 years, I would put down every month for 8 years going back to Thailand to live? I am an Australian PR 8 Years with a British Passport, who's done FIFO(Fly in Fly out) work in Australia for 8 years. I have always had my 7/8/9 or 10 day R&R’s every month in Thailand and any in-between jobs in Thailand. So I class myself as living in 2 countries at the same time! Correct? I've been advised that if i put down Thailand as my residential address my partner wouldn't get her PR visa? Such a simply question yet so difficult to answer Thoughts Please.
  6. Hello my questions is regarding the following: List the countries that you have lived in for 12 months (in total) or more in the last ten years. It appears on the following forms Q 73, form 47 sp Q 38, form 40sp My question is whether this is meant to read as 12 months consecutively , or 12 months cumulatively with in the last 10 years? **If the answer is cumulatively, then is there a distinction between living in a country and visiting a country? Over the past 10 years my partner and I have visited the USA on enough occasions and for several extended trips, enough to accumulate 12 months, but we were never living there. Only just visiting as tourists, every time. Advice on how to deal with this would be MUCH appreciated! Also if anyone else has advice on how they entered the details into this form please share: - dd-mm-yyyy or just mm-yyyy ? - also should the entries be listed according to Country ? ex Canada date to-from address Canada date to-from address USA date to-from address USA date to-from address or should they be listed chronologically? THANK YOU
