MickeyT posted a topic in Visitor VisasHi i ve recently helped my parents in-laws with visa application, they have applied through the vietnam embassy in hanoi and was charged 9.9 mil VND = 600 AUD. is this standard application fee because its overseas ? i did rung immigration they advised me overseas visa processing is actually cheaper then in australia. 135$ per app. so 2x parents = 270 ? i did email the embassy in hanoi to ask if this is correct. Because they are from the countryside with no english, they just payed what is asked. i dont know if price has gone up but my friend did it exactly 6 months ago in october 2015 its 275$ in HCMC. any experiences and help would be greatly appreciated.
Hello everyone. My czech fiance and I are both in czech republic currently (I am australian, and go home in september) and wish to apply for either a partner visa or prospective marriage visa as soon as possible. The one year waiting period is a bit daunting, and we are considering the possibility of her coming to visit me on a tourist visa early next year, waiting till the end of the tourist visa, getting married and then straight away applying for the partner visa (hearby getting a bridging visa, allowing us to be together and she potentially being allowed to work). Seeing as on a tourist visa, the conditions are not intended she stay in the country, is this a wise choice? Or should we get married in czech before I go home, then do the same thing applying for the partner visa onshore on the tourist visa?
