  1. Hello, I have applied for my partner visa 309/100 and it's been 3 months since I have successfully submitted all the required documents. How long more should I wait and can I go visit my wife on holiday visa while my partner visa is on the process. ??
  2. Hello guys! I needed a bit of advice I lodged my partner visa application on 15th Jan 2019 for my wife 309/100 and I am currently on Australian PR. We have been married for over a year now got married in Nov 2018.During this time I visited my wife in Pakistan back in March and then invited her on shore on a family sponsored visit visa in July which was valid for months. She stayed here with me from July- Oct. On 5th October we wife got a call from immigration(AHC Islamabad) while my wife was in Australia and she was interviewed the normal spouse interview that happens in which they asked her about her name,DOB,my name ,DOB, marriage date, our future plans, our daily routines etc. After her interview I the sponsor got an RFI for online form 40sp and my updated PCC's.....I fulfilled all requirements and submitted all documents on 20th October....My wife returned back to Pakistan in end of october.....I then re visited her in December 2019 and flew back in January........... then on 10th January my wife again got a follow up interview call from the AHC in which they said that there is an allegation against you and your husband that your relationship is not genuine and continuing(and that is the reason why your case is suffering delays ......like normal applications in our home country get processed in 8-12 months) .....is this claim true? My wife answered that this claim is baseless and definitely there's no truth in it giving all reasons that how she and I have constantly been in touch and visited each other throughout the year and plus we have over 400 photos us together uploaded on our immi account with friends, family of get togethers, social events, birthdays and what not both in Australia and Pakistan with proper dates and even all our wedding pictures. The interviewer assured my wife that yes I have seen all these proofs and we don't really give weightage to these allegations we just wanted to here about your stance....After a gap of 2 hours I also got a call from the AHC and was asked similar questions about our relationship in specific, routines, where my wife is living currently , how I would describe my relationship in one sentence, our future plans etc. Has anyone ever been in a situation similar to ours where someone has levied an allegation against their application and if so then how long did the case took to process? Does anyone have any idea that how long will I have to wait more either for a grant or ultimate refusal even though I believe that we have sufficient proof on our application that our relationship is genuine and continuing(We even purchased a family car,a home on rent in Melbourne, furniture and attached all utility bills of the 3 months me wife was living with me in Australia, bank statements of all the transfers I made when she's in Pakistan, shopping receipts,Marriage Registration Certificate,Nikkah Nama,Family Registration Certificate,Relationship statement in essay form for the both of us,Form 888 Statutory declarations,Our updated PCC's, trips we went on,travel itineraries, and bank statement of our joint account in Australia). Any advice or help will be highly appreciated as both me and my wife are extremely devastated after these interview calls even though no decision has been made on our application but such false accusations on such a genuine relationship are heart breaking.
  3. Hi all, We applied for Partner visa 309 for my wife from offshore in November 2018. Today, I have received an email with two attachments asking for more information. The application status has moved to initial assessment. The confusion I have is, they haven't specifically asked for anything in the request checklist attached. They have mentioned that it is a pre-assessment notification and they haven't reviewed any information I have already provided on immiaccount at this stage. I am attaching a copy of the document I have received. I don't know if this is normal or if anything is missing in the letter they have sent. Because, I feel as if something is missing on page 4 and I am not sure if I have to contact Immigration department to get clarification. or I dont know if this is just a courtesy commuincation from case officer to say that they are going to assess my application and they want us to make sure we upload everything if we haven't done so. If anyone has received something similar or have any idea, could you please share it. Thank you! Request checklist and details - masked.pdf s56 request for more information - masked.pdf
  4. Hey Everyone, My husband is a citizen in Australia. He applied for my visa (Partner visa ) on 25 April 2019, Melbourne. I eagerly waiting for my visa, can anybody tell the status, whose ever visa come earlier. like how much time the embassy takes for 1 file. Please reply Regards Samaira
  5. Hi I'm trying to answer the "countries resided" question in my wife's application for a partner visa 309. Could someone please advise whether you are supposed to include the country where the applicant currently resides (if they've lived there longer than 12 months) in this question? I'm confused because the question says, "Have any of the applicants lived in a country for more than 12 months cumulatively in the past 10 years?" My wife has lived in one country for all of the last 10 years (Japan) - and she/we continue to live there now. So I want to answer "yes." But then i'm prompted to input our "last permanent address in this country." This would be our current address, because we've lived in our current apartment longer than one year... I'm then expected to fill in a "date to" field - but I can't because we still live at this address... I also clicked on the help icon next to "Last permanent address in this country" and it says "Give details of the last permanent address in this country before departure." So now I'm thinking I'm only supposed to include countries from which we have already "departed" - and hence we shouldn't be adding our current country of residence at all...?? Does anyone have any info to share on this? Am I missing something..? Thanks very much
  6. Dear Team, I seek your valuable advise on my following case. I was married in March 2019 with an Australian citizen. Before that, I was working as a Telecom Engineer with 6 years of work experience. During my period of employment, I intended to apply for Skilled Visa 189 for which I completed my skill assessment by EngineerAustralia and recieved positive result. After that, I submitted my EOI and placed in skill select queue. My total score is 65, thus, chances of recieving invitation is not possible in near future. But now I want to apply for partner visa 309 and withdraw my EOI. Can you please guide me if it is possible to apply for visa subclass 309 when applicant has submitted EOI for 189? Does Engineer Australia result impact my partner visa process? Should I withdraw my EOI? Looking forward to hear from you all.
