    Resident Return Visa For Child

I and a mother of 8 yr girl who had migrated to Australia in August 2009 on skilled migration vsia 175 with my 10 month child that time(her) then also along with my abusive partner that time. After migrating to Australia my violent abusive partner had escalated his abuse with me and my child and I was forced to send back my daughter to India to my parents. There was no family court order when I left her in India in Dec 2010 and she holded permanent visa 175 secondary . The marriage broke in 2009 as ofcourse my ex was brutal and violent and he is still living in Australia and i have got his no whereabouts nor do we intend to contact each other now Eventually i got back to Australia again in 2011 and now I am an Australian citizen since 2013. I want to bring back my child to australia now and her PR visa has expired in Aug 2014. What visa do i need to apply to get her back and if after the vsia is granted if there are compelling reasons that my child still cannot come to Australia because of my abusive partner then what will be the implications after visa been granted then
  2. Hi, I recently had my citizenship approved but have not attended a ceremony yet. If I'm planning to leave the country before the ceremony for a holiday do I still need to renew my RRV? Thanks, Stefan
  3. Hello, I have looked at the thread for Resident Return Visas, but couldn't find a solid answer for my questions. I am Canadian with permanent residency in Australia. I have been sponsored by my Australian spouse. He was just approved for Canadian Permanent Residency and we are now going to live in Canada for awhile. I am wondering what my restrictions are as I am not an Australian citizen. (I don't want to jeopardize losing my PR). -Is there a limit for the amount of time I can live outside of Australia? -If we plan to live in Canada for 10 years and then return to Australia to live what do I need to do? Or is there something I need to do before I even leave Australia this time? -Coming back to visit his family on holidays, do I need to get a RRV or do I just come? Any information will be greatly appreciated. Cheers.
  4. Hi Every one, My PR expired in 2013, I was away from Australia for the last 6 years due to compelling reasons. Recently applied RRV and my RRV is approved I have been working in India for last 6 years, Now I want to come back to Australia in August. I am married in 2011, we had a child aged 4 years now.Now I want to apply partner visa before I come to Australia as processing time takes more than 1 year. 1.Do I need to provide proof of income/ bank guarantee in Australia to sponsor my partner ? 2.My offer letters, salary slips in India are sufficient ? 3. Am I eligible to apply partner visa if I was away from Australia for 6 years ? 4.What is the better option for me , applying partner visa on shore or off shore ? Please advise. Appreciate your help and support. Thank you.
