Apply 189 visa with Canadian student visa refusals

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, I had three Canadian student visa refusals back in 2014.  The reason for refusals were that my proposed course of study wasn't relevant to what I was applying. But, I have successfully completed my studies in Australia and on my 485 working visa. I have received my invitation to apply for 189 visa recently. During my student visa extension and 485 visa my migration agent forgot to mention my Canadian visa refusals. Should I mention my Canadian visa refusals since I can see 'refusal in any other country' section of my form 80. Will it be considered inconsistent? Did anyone have similar issues? My invitation to apply for visa ends next month. Please anyone advise me on this matter. Thanks in advance.

You must correct the mistake, and ASAP.

Mistakes happen, but, to knowingly fail to promptly correct the mistake, is technically falsification.

Send in a Form 80 ASAP, with a well worded covering letter on why this omission happened, and a general explanation of why the previous visa refusals occured, and try to make a case that the historical reasons do not effect this application.
