PMV Granted! Happy to answer questions

Recommended Posts

Happy to report that my PMV was granted yesterday. Thanks for all the help  and support. I am happy to answer questions if anyone wants.

Applied from USA on March 30, 2019 (about 4.5 months total). Provided medical and character documents about 1.5 months after applying. Had to provide a medical report from a specialist regarding a medical condition (ulcerative colitis). Status went directly from Received/Submitted to granted. Never had any correspondence with a CO.

Congrats! Did you include form 80? if so, I want your help with some of the questions in it.

Part E – International travel / movements
18. Have you travelled to any country other than Australia in the last 10 years?-----The question states OTHER THAN means = except but I have been to Australia twice. Do I need to include it or not?

Good girl 😁

THANKS . HOW DID YOU ANSWER THE "PROPOSED TRAVEL OR FURTHER STAY' PART?

Q22. WHY ARE YOU TRAVELLING TO AUS? MY ANSWER: TO LIVE AND WORK. (IS THIS CORRECT?) THEN I WROTE PLEASE REFER TO PART T FOR ADDITIONAL INFO

Q23. DO YOU HAVE ANY PROPOSED OR BOOKED TRAVEL DATES FOR YOUR JOURNEY TO AUS? I JUST TICK NO. IF I WILL APPLY FOR A TOURIST VISA WHILE ON PMV, DO I NEED TO TICK YES? THERE IS NO DEFINITE THOUGH AS TO WHEN I AM GOING THERE BUT IT SHOULD BE THIS COMING SUMMER (IN AUS)

Q24. ARE YOU APPLYING FOR A TEMPORARY VISA? THIS ONE IS CONFUSING. WHAT WAS YOUR ANSWER?

Q22 That answer is fine but dont forget you will be marrying your partner too and starting your life together.

Q23 Say no. You have no definitive plans.

Q24 Yes this question is confusing as the visa you are applying for is a temporary one with the aim to become permanent. We put temporary as the PMV 300 is a Temporary Visa

Q22:  Must PRIMARILY speak to joining your partner in Australia and progressing your relationship together, whilst you become a member of Australian society and work towards citizenship.  DO NOT just say work and live.
