Flying to NZ through Sydney Airport. Do I need a transit visa. Need answer ASAP!

Recommended Posts

Hello

I am a Mongolian and flying to New Zealand through Sydney airport. My flight (Qantas) will arrive in Sydney airport at 14:10, Nov 7, and the connecting flight (Qantas) to New Zealand departs at 19:25 the same day, so total time spent in the Sydney airport is  5 hours 15 minutes during day time. Do I need Australian transit visa in my case? Please help!

Thank you so much

Kind regards

Munkh

No.  You do not need a Transit Visa. As you are not entering Australia. You are a PASSENGER in TRANSIT.

But of course, you can not leave the Sydney International Airport.
